The Hackathon will also provide participants with the opportunity to secure funding from prominent Angel Investors & Venture Capitalists who will have a keen eye on proceedings. Next In 2.0 is an innovative global hackathon presented by ICC and NIUM. It is a first-of-its-kind event that brings together the global community of sports and technology innovators to create extraordinary ideas and solutions for the cricket ecosystem. Participants will harness the power of advanced technologies like AI/ML, Fintech, AR/VR, Web3, Blockchain, and Data Science to revolutionize the cricket ecosystem.

Next In 2.0 is open to individuals and teams from all over the world. Whether you are a startup, working professional, student, or freelancer, if you have a passion for cricket and a drive for innovation, this hackathon is for you.

Next In 2.0 consists of a multi-phase approach. The first two rounds will be conducted online, where teams will register and submit their ideas. Shortlisted teams will proceed to the offline prototype development phase, culminating in an exclusive event in November 2023 in Mumbai, India. Top teams will present their creations to a panel of judges representing the cricket and technology industries.

Next In 2.0 offers an impressive total prize pool of $20,000. The top 4 finalists will each win $3,000, and the ultimate winner will receive an additional $6,000 as the grand prize. Moreover, there is a Special Mention Category with a prize pool of $2,000 to acknowledge outstanding innovations and ideas that stand out from the rest. Winners will also have an additional opportunity to secure funding from potential investors for their prototypes.

No, there is no participation fee to enter Next In 2.0. It is free for all passionate innovators to join the hackathon.

To participate, simply register on the Next In 2.0 website during the registration phase. Teams can be formed with a maximum of 4 members, and participants can explore public teams if they don't have one.

The winners of Next In 2.0 will be announced at the grand finale event in November 2023. Stay tuned for updates on the website and official channels.
